André De Shields
André performed at the John W. Engeman Theater in Damn Yankees. André was the triple crown winner of the 2019 awards season, securing a Tony, Outer Critics Circle, Drama Desk Awards for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his critically acclaimed performance as Hermes in Hadestown. The Actors’ Equity Foundation followed suit with the Richard Seff Award, honoring veteran stage actors’ best supporting performances of the year.
Janet performed at the John W. Engeman Theater in Man of La Mancha. Janet recently starred as Dina in the National Tour of the 10-time Tony Award Winning Musical, The Bands Visit. She has starred in several Broadway productions in NYC, most recently Prince of Broadway, directed by Hal Prince. She played multiple roles in the production including, Eva Peron in Evita, The Spiderwoman, Aurora in Kiss of The Spiderwoman, and Sydney in It's A Bird, It's A Plane, It's Superman. Janet also starred in the Tony and Grammy Award Winning hit In The Heights.
The John W. Engeman Theater opened its doors in 2007, casting its actors directly from the Broadway talent pool. To date, the Theater has produced 80 Main Stage Productions of some of Broadway’s finest musicals and plays. The Theater has also proudly opened their doors for numerous special events, and fundraisers for various organizations.
